Not really it was genuine.

He is a nice guy and Im sad he had hard times with his adolecense and romance. Romance ending can be tough. I think he needs to compromise more and become a better person though to find happiness, especially locally, but I think all people need to do that (fix what is within).

Further more: I also am sad he had it hard at times looking abroad although it works both ways there are many horror stories about women in eastern europe and asia marrying men here in the states only to find they are rapists, wife beaters and murders.

So yeah I dont wish him anything negative. I just wish he could see that there are girls here who might not be 18 years old, a size 2 and blond who are just as valueable.

He learned a lot over the course of his life. You have to give him that much credit. We are all fools in being "life dumb." I just wished that he didn't write with such angst, but that goes to show his old soul is still a bit younger than he thinks it is.

The game of physical attraction is messy. It's like in this case, he wants to date attractive girls, but I think he would fit into the more average category. So is it really fair to expect the other person to appreciate you beyond your looks if you can't do the same? It's not just in his case. It's all over the place.

I hope he finds happiness and would embody a lot more of the opposite of what he doesn't like in the vilified women in his life.
