Chinese president meets Slovak counterpart
Chinese President Hu Jintao met here Monday with President of Slovakia Ivan Gashparovic, who attended the opening ceremony of the Beijing Olympic Games on Aug. 8. Hu called Gashparovic an "old friend of the Chinese people" and spoke highly of his efforts to promote China-Slovakia friendship over the past years.
