China quake death toll rises to 69,225 by Monday noon
The death toll from the May 12 earthquake in Sichuan Province and its neighboring region rises to 69,225 as of Monday noon, the State Council Information Office said in a statement. The number of people listed as missing and injured reached 17,939 and 374,640 respectively. As of Monday noon, a total of 1,486,197 quake-affected people had been relocated.
