Main troop of China's 7th peacekeeping squad leaves for Haiti
The main troop of China's seventh peacekeeping riot squad for the United Nations mission in Haiti left Beijing on a chartered flight operated by Air China on Wednesday. The 95 members would join a 30-member advance group, which has been in Haiti since Aug. 4, bringing the squad up to its full force of 125, including five female police officers, said an official with the Ministry of Public Security.
