I truly believe that any form of martial arts from any part of the world is originated from China, it's just been manipulated, and modified slightly to cooperate into their own cultural. You have to keep in mind that Chinese Ku Fu has at least 2000 years of history or more, and believe or not, the ancient China actually had a lot of communication with the other country or territory.

I read somewhere that the Ukrainians got the martial arts and other cultural features from the Mongols-Tatars who ruled Moscow for several centuries. So that might explain such strong resemblance to Eastern martial arts.
