The other day I heared my mom saying "balay is also refered as home in Malay language". That got me thinking because filipino language has plenty of "ay" and "it" at the end of the words, like thai and malay language. I think it's interesting to find out if malay and thai people learn filipino language and see if they have difficulty or having facility because of the related language .

I used to date a guy from Laos and he told me that Laotian and Thai are very close to being the same. He tried to explain it to me but he lost me on it. LOL

Laos is the landlocked country between Vietnam and Thailand with Cambodia bordering on the south.. The geography is so small that language and culture is shared between each other to a large degree.
