i have an attraction to asian men because i think their features are stunning, plus i do have an interest in asian culture. i am mainly attracted to east asian men, but south asian and even some middle eastern men are very attractive to me.

Too many reasons why I love Chines/asian..

AM/BW

When I was a student, I dated a guy who was an exchange student from China. We only went out twice, but he was sweet and courteous. It was the first time that I had a chance to feel special and unique rather than run of the mill.

I have dated a few Asian men and my experiences are mainly positive. I feel more like I am appreciated for myself and listened too. One guy I met in an airport; we had an instant connection-liked the same, music, movies etc. It was weird...like we had crossed paths in a past life and were meeting up again. We talked for hours because the plane was late. Never saw him again, unfortunately.

For some reason, I feel more open and relaxed around Asian men generally.

I know a lot of Asian men are stereotyped as being shy and quiet; which I don't think is true for everyone. Also, what's so bad about being quiet? I appreciated a man who doesn't feel like he has to feel up every second with chatter. I like someone I can just be still with and give comfort too. I like to spend time pampering the man I'm with and making him feel special. I also think that masculinity can be expressed in different ways and maybe I am attracted to that difference.

I came to this board because you can say things like this hopefully with women who have had some of the same experiences.

Able to appreciate Asian culture is very important as it will deepen the connection. The knowledge may also help you understand what he may not articulate directly - thoughts, values, assumptions etc.
