kay, folks. Don't go off on me for stereotyping here! Of course it goes without saying that there are exceptions to every rule. But here are the reasons I, a white female, aged 25, blonde hair, green eyes, Doctoral candidate (so no dumb blonde jokes, ya hear!) love Asian men:

1. Asian men tend to have great values. They respect their elders, value family and education, and strive for financial and career success.
   I'm not going to go into some diatribe on how men of other races don't share these same values (many do) but frankly, I don't see these values reflected as often.
2. Asian men treat women like gold. I've had two Asian boyfriends, and they both treated me like a princess. Not because I'm white, but because they would treat ANY woman they dated like that. I decided then and there that I will, hopefully, marry an Asian guy. No, I don't have a fetish, and NO, I won't ignore men of other races who are also attractive to me, but I'd prefer to marry an Asian if possible.
3. Asian men make great fathers. No, I'm not talking about one of those stern, old world Korean fathers who beats their kids and has impossible standards. I'm talking guys who are at least raised in this country more or less and who have become at least partially accultured to the US way of life.
   Every time I see a young Asian father, he's playing with his kids, being a loving and devoted dad. I hope my BF will become my husband and I'll be lucky enough to have kids with him!
4. Asian men have good hygiene/know how to dress. Now, don't anyone go off on me about smelly "FOB's". Of course, there are some guys who don't, but pretty much EVERY Asian guy I know is very clean.

i dont know if i ever met that gal but she somehow described what other people are saying about me -no thats not ego talking. Im pretty sure asians here were told the same. but i think they only say that because of what they felt before.

most of the ladies who told me these are in their 30's. the ones my age say other wise as they have no idea whats life going to be ahead of them. Dont get me wrong, i have been given compliments before about the way i look and my work ethic but more often its more of "you will be marrying a lucky woman." I wanted to reply: "for god sakes, stop wishing and start doing." Because i cant stand it anymore. Dreaming is nice, but when it stalls you to dreamland; you're not achieving anything.

Except of "...know how to dress" I can sign everything My boyfriend didn't know how to dress but I loved him nevertheless.

LOL there is good and bad. LIke with any person or Person(s). The more I see people praise asian men the more I wanna know about the negatives. I wnat to be prepared and not shocked LOL!

I agree with most of everything to an extent. No man woman or being is that perfect all the time.

It's true of any culture. You have the good, bad, and the ugly. Every race/culture has both positive and negative points. There are asians I've met you want to knock the teeth out of and then there are those who are total saints. One thing I have noticed that may be a negative is asian men can gossip as much as the women folk, maybe more so than say western culture. Asians tend to speak (at least fob's) in an indirect manner and you spend have the time reading between the lines if they meant this or that. It's a matter of taste and preference. I like dealing with those who are honest, "direct" and "straight" because I am. Majority of asians aren't like this and sometimes within the culture it's not "appreciated". In other words they like to hear the niceties than the truth. Anyway, that's my personal experience having lived in Asia. YMMV.

I know what you mean one of the girls I know from a korean website happened to live near me she met up with me and kept asking do I think she looks like a fob. its the only thing she was worried about.~> its confusing to me since fob is a word we italian americans use for our beginnigns which we are proud of LOL!
