Miracle World, the new Mandarin album by Andy was released 2 yrs after the previous one, the making of the album was of course meticulous. Other than inviting famous cartoonist to design the MV for Shepherd Flute, the album cover was designed to give the feel of a fairy tale.
The picture however resembles that of a German photographer Loretta Lux, The Red Ball No.1, produced in 2000.

007 (the author) surfed uwants forum recently, a netizen used the title ‘Is Andy plagiarizing?’ to post Andy’s album cover & compared it with
Loretta's The Red Ball No.1.

The child, wearing a short-sleeved green shirt, similarly lifted up both hands. He was like using magic to make the red balls suspended in the air.
Andy wears a long sleeved green top, also putting on a magic act, the red balls were changed to big marbles. Netizen small lamb said, "The basic structure is the same."



Loretta’s work used children as models mostly, combining photography, drawing & in the later stage, digital in her work. The photographic work is incorporated into her own drawing, with her unrealistic style she portrays the fantasy world of the children.

Andy Lau is packaged and I don't think that he's personally responsible for that.

Yeah the news will always make it seem like the artist is responsible. Packaged or Planned if they have a say or not the pics are similar in concept but not the same at all.

It is nothing like plagarism he is looking directly at the camera the girl is not. His hands are formed to hold the sphere and the girl just looks like she was scared by something. If they blamed plagerism on every similar photo, there would be a lot of people out there with the same problem lol.

A lot of photographers have the same idea's that is what makes us have things in common. I don't think he did it intentionally.
