Hey guys and gals,

Do any of the members here ever work on their own car like oil changes or minor modifications?

I always like to tinker under the hood and if I have the tools and guide, I rather do things like changing an air filter myself or change a light bulb to save money rather than hire a mechanic!

Hey, I fixed the lawn mower myself. It cost me all of getting a spark plug and socket wrench. haha.

Actually it was a little more than that and guess where I got all the info to fix it? Yea.. the internet.

I wouldn't say my knowledge is as extensive as a proper mechanic but I can hold my own in the garage. I've worked on all types of things from small cars to larger vehicles. I prefer tinkering with motorcycles.
