What are some of your craziest or scariest driving experiences?

One of my scariest was when I lived in Swindon, Wiltshire, England.

I don't know if any of you have ever been to England or have seen their famous "roundabouts" on TV, but when I lived in Swindon, there was this famous roundabout called "The magic 5 roundabout".

I will never forget the first time I came upon that thing when I was driving in Swindon the first time. It scared the hell out of me. My first reaction? "What the Fuck is THAT?" I am not kidding you guys.

Basically it's 5 roundabouts inside a big roundabout. The first time I saw that thing it scared the hell out of me and I actually backed up down the street to turn around and avoid going over it.

Later on, a guy I was dating showed me how it works. And you know what? It actually does work to help control traffic. It's just the first time you see it and all, it can be very intimidating.

Driving through Bailey, Colorado. I was meeting a friend at her parents place for a large Christmas party. To get to her house one had to drive on a narrow dirt road that traversed through a mountain. You look over it was a cliff and a very long way down. Imagine driving on it at night when it is a snow-laden with ice spots. Gnarly to the bone!

In 1995, I bought a new base model manual Toyota Corolla. My mom wanted to see Big Bear, CA which is an area where you can go skiing and fishing. It was the first time I drove a stick shift down a twisting mountain roads with a few barricades and fog. Visibility was not good and plenty of low clouds. It was the most fun I ever had driving a car. I like twisted mountain roads. Good for a manual drive car.

One time my brother was driving on the interstate and almost missed the exit. I was sitting beside him while he drove. He swung sharply to make the turn and almost run off the road. It scared the hell out of me. I spent the remainder of the trip yelling at him about it.

I dont drive but I am a passenger. 2 years ago I had coordinated a get together in Flushing. Flushing queens is a mostly korean/chinese neighborhood. The streets are small and the riceracers are many.

It happened to be a snow storm. And that night well we went to go home and the roads were not plowed.

My brothers car stayedsomewhat steady but others round us were fishtailing as well as spinning out.

We had reached a area where my brother knew he could not handle and well we spun out.

It was alot smoother and slower than I thought it would be and we didnt hit anything. My brother turned to me and said thats what a drift feels like and I said well lets do that again without snow.

In fact I have a gtg in flushing this sat. My brother is driving if it snows we are staying home.

second scariest was the bus accident. Not fun

I was driving to the grocery store with my mom in the car last year. School was already cancelled that day because of snow and I was driving down the road and slid on some ice. I ended up doing a 180 in the street. Some lady was dancing and I happened to look in my mirror.
