Well Christian Bale has been fit before his role in Machinist. What is incredible is how he lost all his weight and muscle mass to play that role. Did anyone watch the movie Equilibrium?

Haha yes. Honestly I love me some Christian Bale, he's excellent in everything from Newsies to American Psycho, but I was not a fan of The Machinist or Equilibrium.

Don't patronize me Moon. The only thing interesting about The Machinist was Bale's emaciated physique. I didn't like the movie because I was forced to watch it in a Bible as literature class, and the plot was incredibly obvious... I mean who didn't see that coming? My professor was a moron and he jabbered on incessantly about how profound it was and such, really soured me on the whole movie forever.

I mean come on Hollywood, multiple personality disorder is hardly a twist anymore.

I got all hyped up to see this movie and honestly it didn't turn out to be all that. Though I admit Aaron Eckhart transformation into 2 face and Heath Ledger as the Joker stole the show.
