The most damaging stereotype is definitely the small penis and nerdy stereotype. There are women out there who do prefer large confident men. I thing asian men will value a relationship more and will treat a women with respect.

I think the most damaging, at least in terms of dating is that Asian men are domineering chauvenist pigs.

plenty of fish in your sea.. just in today's world, most women are unorthodox'd (excuse my grammer to early for me).. example, There are alot of "women" out here who are open to any kind/type of relationship. Men could have children be divorced have psychotic episodes (<-- i'd question that type tho)..want to be bi-sexual, and live a "straight" life.. be an addict, or just to busy with personal needs and not ready to settle down.. A women,is willing to accept all those things.. in our minds, its the "MEN" who can't see past thier noses..

like with me, I was willing to raise my kids alone, because i thought because i had 3 kids.. the sterotype that followed me, would just reuine my chances when it came to dating.. ( of course, that person didnt know about my personal life).. but i figure "HE" would just assume..that i ended up in my situation,because " I " was careless.. (which isn't the situation many years i thought and gained knowledge until i realized i didnt deserve to be alone.)

BUT so happens i met an amazing person..and i didn't have to explain much, even tho i cried and poured my eyes out, emptied my heart.. i thought for sure, he was running for the hills..

but he didn't and hasn't.. HE makes up our family. I think, Men should be more open minded, when it comes to women..

I'm going to make some points here and it might piss some of the bananas (PC term being ABC's or CBC's) off on this forum. It's not directed at Bofonics but the statement in general. Many a time I hear this statement of why '2nd and 3rd gen asian girls are not interested in me'. First of all there many fish in the sea. If not your town, then your country... and if not your country there are hundreds of other countries. You only bound by the perimeters you set. No one sets these borders except yourself.

Not all asian girls or non-asian girls do not go out with asian men. I think all of us are grown up enough to understand that it's not the color of your skin and hair that determine whether or not someone likes you. It's what you bring you the table in terms of your personality and everything else. Having said that there are certain preferences people have (as do you) of what they find attractive. It just means their conditioning and yours don't match. No biggie.. move on. Next! Billions of fish in the sea.. Second of all what's asian to you is not considered asian by others. Having black hair and yellow skin does not an asian make. You must posess the culture, the language, and the traditions. I can make a pretty good assumption that most women here are not attracted to asian men just cause of physicality but rather what an asian man represents to them, the qualities they see in personal experience that seperates an asian men from a non-asian man. If you lack those basic qualities of what being an asian man is then learn it whether it's taking courses to brush up on aisan languages, history, traditions, travelling, etc. In fact the same parents who you felt were too "cramping" your style are the best teachers/coaches you have. I guess that comes with age instead of rebelling against your parents you learn some respect for the culture and where they came from - heritage if you will. Pure asian girls (from the old country) won't even touch a banana unless you know the whole asian thing from age 1 and up. Banana asian girls (2nd, 3rd + gens) won't care for you cause of who they were brought up with, the crowd they hung with, and who the media influence is (which usually means westernized caucasians). Fact is if you sound "white", in your face style, no different than a white boy then you are associated as such. In other words, if you're white on the inside but yellow on the outside then asian girls (and most girls for that matter) will see you as white whether or not they date an asian guy to begin with. Why go with an asian who acts white when there are plenty of whites/black/hispanics/any other race around who can do the same damn thing? You get the drift...

Look, one can't fault you of where you are born, your upbringing, and who you are as a person whether you are easternized asian or westernized asian. However, you can change who you become and mature on that as an adult. This identity crisis for 1.5 gens are really asians who somewhere along the way lost the traditions, customs, languages of their parents and are now trying to get it back and rekindle the two cultures. I'm surprised whenever I hear of non-asian girls on this forum who are that dedicated into understanding asian culture and know far more than CBC's and ABC's. Makes me sad really. To think your own race cannot spend the same amount of time learning about their culture as they do xBox 360.

I think there are about 3 Asian men stereotypes that are the most damaging.

1. That they have small dicks-I completely feel this is total BULLSHIT. I have dated Asian men with dick sizes ranging from 4 1/2 inches to 7 inches. I didn't take a measuring tape to measure it, but I know size pretty much by sight. Not even all white guys are over 6 inches. Asian men range in size just like other races and Asian men have done the job just fine for me, THANK YOU very much. They know what to do with it and have satisfied me just as well, or in fact, better than other races because they really want to please a woman. This is one stereotype about Asian men that royally pisses me off when I hear it, and I'm not too shy to speak up in favour of them.

2. They are too nerdy-There are very nerdy white and black guys too. This is not just Asian men. I have dated the nerdy type Asian men as well as the Jock type and they were all completely different. Not all Asian guys are Mathmeticians. In fact, a couple of them I have had to help with Math in school. So, I can tell you that not ALL Asian guys are nerdy. I think however, that they appear smarter than other races because most Asian guys are driven hard by their parents to study.. so it gives the appearance that they are smarter. However, if they do study more, they are smarter because they learned.

3. They are too dominating over women-Apart from ONE Asian guy I dated who was a control freak, I have NEVER had this problem with Asian men overall. This is with BOTH Western-born Asian men and Eastern-born and raised Asian men. Most of them are nothing like that.

I have found ALL of the above total bullshit through my own personal experiences with them.

Let me elaborate a bit more here. For instance Asian men are NOT all:

1. Mathmeticians
2. Know or do Martial Arts
3. Can every one of them eat with chopsticks
4. Do every single thing mom and dad tell them to do
5. Able to speak their Ethnic language
6. Eat dogs
7. Treat women lower than them
8. Agree with arranged marriages
9. Smarter than any other race
10. know how to manage money
