i miss my hair!
today i went to the salon with my uber fashionable aunt.
she convinced me that she had always liked me with shorter hair.

so i went from having long hair, more than halfway down my back, to a bob that is chin length.

i haven't had short hair in 4 years. i remember missing my long hair the last time i cut it this short and i miss it even more now! and i have highlights too! i have never cared for highlights on me, but now i have them too! eek =/

well I think the short hair you will grow to love...I often chop mine off and suffer immediate regret, followed by like the first time I wash and style it myself.

As for highlights...I used to have them, and my hair is as dark as yours and I just think that to those of us with black hair highlights look too unnatural. But they can be cute, and they are definately trendy!

I think you have the face to carry the bob and it probably looks really nice on you. Post a pic if you want.

If you really don't like it, at least it grows out.

i have a pretty round face, so my aunt says having this hair style and the way it frames it makes it look less round. but i think it kinda makes me look fatter.

i think it bothers me a little because it makes me feel less feminine.

by what I can see of your pics, your face doesn't look that round/fat to me.

But all in all, you are the one that has to be happy with your hair. I guess you can grow it out again if you really don't like it. But give it a little more time. You only just got it done.

i know how you feel...2 months ago i got angry at the way i looked cuz i didnt have a boyfriend anymore and for some reason cant get one.. so i looked at myself in the mirrior, screamed 'you're nothing but an ugly worthless peice of crap' and i took scissors and wacked all my hair off to my shoulders...(it was so long i could sit on it before, to my hips when i was standing)...i regret it too....yay psyco-depressive fit...
