Gorgeous hair is something every women lusts after.
Shampoo brand Sunsilk recently launched a survey to find out just how important hair is in the lives of women. The survey extended to women all across the world including women in India, Thailand, Brazil, Mexico, Russia, USA and Bangladesh.
The survey included questions about their hair, their life and how one impacts the other. The results of the survey were presented and discussed at a press conference. The survey provided many interesting facts about hair and what it represents:
Nearly all women think hair is a crucial part of their appearance. In fact, over 41 per cent feel hair is the most important aspect of their looks over make-up, clothes and skin! And amongst all the countries surveyed, Bangladeshi girls are most convinced by the power of hair. In fact, 96 per cent of the girls here believe it plays a crucial role in the way a person looks. Around 82 percent of women worldwide believe hair can be used to make a fashion statement and in Bangladesh, 93 per cent of women feel the same way. With all this emphasis placed on hair, it isn't surprising that hair is the last thing, almost 50 per cent of the girls in Bangladesh check before an important event - such as a meeting.
Bangladeshi women are the most convinced that their hair is the best reflection of their personality with almost 90 per cent of them believing that hair defines the physical expression of who they are. Nearly all girls admit that how their hair looks affects how they feel about themselves.
A huge 87 per cent - nearly 9 out of every 10 girls feel more confident and open to new opportunities when they think their hair looks good, which is why 69 per cent of girls get impatient when they feel happy with their hair - they don't want to waste time before going out and making the most of their 'good hair feeling'. However, this means that 50 per cent of girls feel the need to hide away from the world when they aren't happy with their locks. And it is impossible to make life happen when you are hidden away.
Half of women throughout the world describe themselves as unattractive when they are unhappy with their hair. This hair related insecurity could be holding them back and may thus mean they miss opportunities.
The shampoo maker says “these global findings prove just how powerful hair can be. Feeling happy with your hair can make you feel confident, open to new opportunities and truly be yourself”.

I use herbal essences, vidal sasson and beauty salon shampoos and conditioners.

I would say my hair is important to me.. and my complexion.

I have terrible results with any supermarket bought shampoo.

Only on occassion when my hair starts getting greasy or a buildup do I go for suave daily clarifying.

other than that, I have best results with ISO. I tried to go slightly cheaper with nexuus and my hair ended up greasy and limp, or using rusk and I ended up frizzy.

I either have to get ISO through my mom when I see her (she owns a salon, or order it online since I haven't found a salon here that carries it.

But I think most people don't realize it's mostly about how you care for your hair. Washing it daily is about the worst thing you can do for it, every other day is better, every 3rd day is ideal. Especially if you're washing it, then blowing it dry, then styling it...ugh.

I never blow dry my hair. I always let it air dry. Because it's long, it doesn't hurt.

I use vidal sasson myself too. I alternate between that and pantene. I find it just works best for me.

I wash my hair twice a week otherwise it would be dried out so badly. I have normal thin hair.

if you use garnier sleek and shine shampoo with garnier 3 minute conditioning mask every day it wont get dried out and it makes your hair 5x stronger too it's pretty expensive like 5 dollars a bottle but it's so worth it

Sunsilk gives me dandruff so does Gainier .. I used to love herbal essences but since they changed their formula it screwed my hair badly.

I actually do by the discontinued herbal essences for about 45$ a bottle now. Isnt that fucked up.. but I love the wya it feels in my hair.

lol expensive at 5 bucks a bottle, I feel like a prima donna now. I don't condition unless I need it, which is maybe once a week?

This is what I use

10 bucks for the small 10oz bottle, 19 for the liter sized. I don't have curly hair, but I live in a really humid place, so this formula works wonders!
