All of us taste the typical popular asian dishes like BBQ pork, ribs, udon noodles, japchae, fried rice, pho, teriyaki, etc.

What about asian foods you just can't stand??

For me I never gotten used to the taste of sushi. The smell and taste of raw fish never appealed to me. blah...

I don't like the seaweed wrapped rice crackers, but I wouldn't call it hate.

Durian smells gross, the packaged duck eggs terrify me.

Aloe drink weirds me out, I can't drink something with slimy bits in it.

I really don't think I could eat chicken's feet.

I like the head removed from my fish before I eat it, I don't like my meal staring back up at me.

Congeeled blood, mgb says it's delicious, I'll just have to take his word for it.

yes, pho is awesome! What don't you like about it?

I went the whole 9 yards the first time I had it, got the one with tendon, meatball, tripe and sliced steak. I'm not a huge fan of the tendon, tripe or meatball really, but the broth and the fresh herbs and sprouts...yum. I either get just the steak or a seafood pho, love it. Make my own at home even, having your own herb garden makes it easy!

Pho is great but I hate the ones with tripe. Asians tend to put all kinds of weird things into their dishes. No tripe, organs, pigs feet, grubs, brains or fried insects for me. Durian is yummy though. I don't see why MG hates it. I had durian ice cream all the time while living in Asia.

sushi, raw fish-just can't do it

Even though I have never had it, the Korean dish (I believe) that is made of live octopus pieces. The thought of something alive wiggling down my throat makes me want to scream with horror. I also saw this show were people were eating whole octopus (small). They just dipped it in some sauce and then swallowed. A guy said the tendrils were trying to cling to his mouth and throat so it won't go down. To each their own and I would never begrudge someone that believes something is a good meal but...why why why.
