I hate summers. I always did. The rotten heat that saps my energy and strength, staying at home all the freaking time, wishing the summer was over so i can be at home less and not have mom nag me to death. I also hate summers for another reason. I have to have a job. I hate working, hate dealing with people, with emotions. I wish i'd be somewhere far away during the summers, away from the heat, and from my life. Does anyone else hate summers, or is it just me?

I have always "disliked" the summer as well. The heat doesn't help my ability to sweat easily much. Going outside during the worst of the summer (last week) is torture. I can't be outside for long before the droplits start...oh so sexy. Fall and winter I welcome you with open arms.

When I was growing up/living in Germany and England, I loved it there. The summer would only get warm for about a month then it got cooler again. I am a hot natured person and I can't stand the hot, sticky summers we have down here in Florida.

I hate the dichotomy of the 4 seasons - hot, hot summers and cold, freezing winters (like -30C temps and below). Spring and fall are the best seasons. They are the most picturesque seasons too. Spring, the bringing of life and Fall, the decline of life. Best photos are shot during these 2 seasons IMO.

I also not into summer because I normally sweat more than usual. It's not fun when you smell...and have to take frequent showers. I am not into hot climates...I am more of a "winter" guy or "rain" kind of guy!

I don't mind summer. But the humidity can be awfully uncomfortable during the really hot days. Thank goodness for air conditioning. Personally I would prefer a climate where it's about 10c to about 25c year round. I enjoy the warmer daytime weather and cooler evenings.

Summer jobs can be fun, depending on the industry. But being cooped up inside an office all the time would just plain suck.

Most people I know love summer. But that's mainly because we Canadians live in a cold climate (relative to our southern neighbours).

The southern neighbors would think that. Most are surprised to find our climate pattern is same/similar to major western european cities.

It's been a very strange summer over here (West coast of Canada). We are in the middle of june and it is actually cold. I've never seen that happen here before.

there was nothing as wonderful as a Michigan summer...warm 80 degree days, all the lakes and beaches, hiking through the trees.

Now NC summers...ok so today is nice, but the over 90 days and the humidity sucks.

But I love late spring, early summer and fall.

I wouldn't be happy without the seasons. I love the freshness of spring, the laziness of summer and the crispness of fall. Ok I can do without winter, but it makes spring that much more enjoyable.

Well consider it for later. you will have to work everyday of your life until you retire when you are done school. Summer is not so bad. I find carrying a fan with me works great. But think of all the flowers, and pretty colors.
