at this point, the fact that she's white and i'm asian seems to be such a minuscule matter. it's kind of ironic to say this on the forum that's made for covering interracial relationship related topics, but ours is one that transcends it to the point where any of the interracial relationship issues many people seem to experience will be the very last thing snowlady and i care about.

In my younger years I dated only asian gals. I sought them out because of my immature expectations of what relationships are. Like some of the guys here, I don't have much experience... I was friends with many XF's and I never thought of any of them in a different way.

In 2004, I met Danielle(that's her other name...two part name) at school. She was all by herself at the college library and at that time she was a libary intern getting work study money for school. Anyway, I remember like it was yesterday..she was wearing this blue hoodie jacket that had the words "Sex Kitten." She was 5'9", blue eyed and blond hair. The second day I went to the library, I saw her again and I was talking with one of the teachers about something and then she asked me to come with her outside. She asked me how I knew about what's going on at school like I read her mind. I told her that I don't know and then I had the courage to ask her for coffee. I asked her for coffee in a few days and that's when I knew something good was going to happen to me. She told me she has a bf and I was her friend.


- After having talks in her car with the seats tilted down, I realize that maybe...there was a possibility I can be with an XF.

- She spent time with me at Chuck E Cheese's on my birthday and bought a Duran Duran cd for me.

- Took her to west LA for a fit model job.

- Watched 13 Going on 30 with her and the Polar Express.

Those times I had with her really impacted my life in many ways. Even though we went our separate ways, I knew I had to tell her how I feel and I did not regret telling her how I feel about her even if it means losing her as a friend. I couldn't lie to myself thinking that being "friends" was enough. I had to be honest with myself and be upfront. I still have her picture and the birthday card she gave me. I am sentimental that way. I like to keep little things here and there.
