What's the farthest you will or have gone for someone?
I read about this guy on another forum who after 2 yrs was willing to get his ex back after her parents disagreed with her choice of proper mate. She is caucasian and he is Japanese. After all this time he still thinks she's the one for him and willing to spend the time, money, to fly to america to talk to her parents about proving they are wrong without any guarantees the answer is a "yes". I read that and thought what some people will do out of love.

This question is becoming a real life-case for me more and more. I certainly can't say with 100% certainty, but if I feel something is working right, I would go pretty far. The more I think about it, I see more and more untrustworthy external pressure and opinions poised as "common knowledge."

Yes, I admit that it would be nicer if you wouldn't have to sacrifice too much for it to work. But then again, one motto I have in my head hard is that anything in this life that is worthy having takes a serious effort to achieve it.
