Have you ever done it? Like set up someone with your bf/gf/SO and see how they react if they ever would/will cheat on you? There's this television program called Cheaters (i think) and they set up willing participants to spy/set up the wife/husband and see if they cheat. LOL. It's always funny when they get busted!!

everytime i watch that show i get this hollow feeling in the back of my throat. like as if i'm watching someone cheating on me.

i've never set anything up before but i know a few friends who made fake email addresses and sent their boyfriends fake emails to entice them. lame lame lame.

I've never set up anything to test a partner before. But if you did, what would you do if you found out that your boy/girlfriend did in fact cheat on you?

That would be a terrible feeling, although I guess it's better to discover this before you get married or commit to them.

she ended up finding out that he was extremely flirty. she pretended to be this person for a couple weeks until he agreed to meet up for casual sex. of course she was outraged, and when she confessed it was her the entire time HE broke up with HER.

I would never test a partner like that because I wouldn't stay with someone I didn't trust in the first place! And I would be very insulted if my partner tried to test me like that, too. No games for me... if I'm not trusting my partner for some reason, I'll talk about it with him first.

ouch...no i've never done that to be honest. But i was tempted to speak to those guys who disappeared from me and pretend to be someone else to find out why they hated my guts...

Oh hell no. lol There's no way in HELL I'd put more temptation in front of the person I'm dating. Why set your relationship up for failure? If you have those kinds of concerns you should probably address them and/or move on to someone else that you trust more.

I have trust issues with people.. but I'm the opposite if anything. I'll notice them treading on the line between acceptable and unacceptable and keep it to myself.. let them make their decisions.. they usually have no idea that I even know whats going on.

why would anyone do that? either you trust or you don't and if you don't then you clearly don't need to be in the relationship

I can understand HIM. I would have done just the same if having been in his shoes.

If I really love my boyfriend, I would never cheat on him but if he has so little trust in me that he thinks he has to put me to a test then I would find out he did that, I would be furious. No matter if I would pass the test or not.

One just doesn't do stuff like that to the person one loves. Period.

And because of all that I wouldn't do that to my boyfriend either.
