Approached By Same Sex
Has anyone been approached by a same sex person wanting to hook up with you?

It happened to me many years ago while at the mall writing a check. This WM sat next to me and asked me up front if I wanted to go out with him. I told him no and said I have a gf. It was uncomfortable for me because I don't go that way. I have no issues with gays, lesbians or bi sexuals. As long as they respect my choices and not try to hook up with my future gf/wife. On a side note, I prefer my future gf to tell me if she is bi curious or bisexual so there are no surprises.

I haven't really been approached in Seattle all that much, but when I was in New York City there were a few times we would go to gay bars to check out the nightlife.

Of course the creepiest experience was one in which I wasn't even approached. When I got my first apartment, I shared it with a friend of mine from school (male). We went to pick up some furniture and he needed a bed so I went with him to haul it back since I was driving a truck at the time. The salesman at the furniture store was asking me all sorts of questions like, oh how do soft do you like the bed and how many coils, assuming that both of us would be sleeping on it.

I think I did. Reason I don't really know is because she never said anything. She just kept looking at me and agreeing to everything I was saying. I don't know if you all get what I mean but sometimes you get that vibe from people. After she left I just had this wierd feeling like I missed something and then it hit me that maybe she did hit on me. Sadly that old stereotype about girls on basketball teams. Well at my college it was mostly true. She had come to my job at the school. I'm not the most observant person when it comes to interactions involving me.

Yes I have been hit on by women before. A couple were subtle about it but still obvious and a few others were straight out with it. Personally, I am totally straight. I don't feel the need to have a sexual relationship with a woman.

I don't have a problem with Bi-Sexual people, gays or lesbians. In fact, I have had a few friends that were that way. I just am not interested in it myself.

The way I handle being approached by women is to just say flat out that I am straight 100%.

ehh.. i treat the lesbians just like the men.. you aint never gonna get it! but what i find funny, lesbians use the same "come on" tactics as men.. the ex's had a couple lesbian aunts, they use to hug me just so my chest would touch them.. it was really weird, but if you look at it from the ( OH! she is like a man) it wasn't comfortable.. but more accepting?? how weird is that?? i also think cause it was suppose to be "family" i kept my mouth shut.. but when i would go home, i would let loose about what i THOUGHT happen..

i happen to like the gays WHO know i am straight and do not try cheap come ons and have to lower themselves to get a cheap feel.

I have definitely been hit on by gay men before, and even by transsexuals. I am not homophobic but I am 100% straight and I usually just tell them straight out that I am not interested.
