Starting from 0 is meaningless since you were not sexually active then, so lets start with an nice average figure, 16. Subtract 16 from your age. This will be the years you have been sexually active, about.

Now count the number of people you have had sex with. (Good luck! I was shocked that I forgot some names! Also shocked that the number was lower than I thought.) Guys please actually count them. Don't guess. Girls, please include those threesomes, one night stands, and the guy you think used you in the summer even tho you usually leave them out. Take the number of partners and divide it by the number of years you were sexually active.

I got an average of 1.2 lovers per year. Not much (in my book), but I probably only pursued and failed with about the same number so at least my batting average is good. <--desperately trying to save ego.

Asking any woman to reveal her number of lovers (since you can figure it out from her age and her "ratio") is like asking her to give up shopping. Not going to happen.
