It's better to be seen as decisive and wrong, than to be indecisive and wishy washy. At least that's the way most guys view other guys and I believe the way most women view guys as well.

Okay, more seriously, it's hard to be in a relationship with a single mom because we know that we will always be competing for attention with the child. The mom's first duty is to her child so some guys don't want to play second fiddle to that.
