So I keep chasing my ex, emails, msns which often get no response or not the resonse I want, e-cards, poems fill with romantic sonnets he sends to the 'junk' box, no matter how much and how hard I chase him he doesn't give in. so, how does this whole 'chase' thing work anyway? what's your opinon on it? Does it shriek "stalker" when someone does this to you? Have you ever chased someone and kept gettnig rejected? How did it make you feel? For me It makes me feel like "well if i'm not good enough for a simple guy like him I must not be good enough for anyone". Can you relate to that? Have you ever been the one who was being chased? My aunt said "Well someday you're going to stop chasing him and he's going to wish he had let you catch him." but how can I make him see that before its too late? any ideas on how to win back his affections (keep in mind I treated him terribly but have learned the error of my ways)

edit: i'd also like to add that I've been practicing "the secret" and it has helped me dramatically in terms of money and my career, but when i focus on getting my ex back it doesnt seem to be doing anything, if you don't know what 'the secret' is, it's the practice of law of attraction.

Well don't mean to be blunt, but why?? Why are you trying to chase your ex. Maybe he feels like your are pushing him too hard, or maybe he really has lost feelings for you.

The best thing to do is realize there are many other men out there and one who will love you truely with all his heart.

Let him go because your in the end only hurting yourself.

In all seriousness Siren, it's a dead end. Simply move on.. It's quite clear from your post he does not wish any involvement. Forcing someone to give in will only create hate and resentment.

I'm going to sound cruel..but you should give away the money you make through that and stop....give it to single mother organizations or something...

Siren, that does sound quite obsessive. Just start going out with friends, meet some new people. Don't dwell on something you can't have.

Believe me when my boyfriend of four years left me, it was hard. He basically came straight out and said that he was leaving me for a girl he met online. Goodness he didn't even meet her in real life yet. It was hard, but I know that it would not have worked.

I heard from a friend once this saying.

You can chain a tiger to your leg just to say you have him, but eventually that tiger is going to bite your leg right off.

It sounds to me that by him deleting every message you send him is his nice way of saying he's not interested. Either that or he has already told you in person or in a more direct way that he is not interested and this is his last resort...

I understand that you may feel like crap right now, I've felt that way before, but usually what happens to me is that the guy is really interested and then one day disappears. I get frustrated from that, but whatever, he wasn't good enough for me then. Don't take it like you aren't good for anyone, rejection is a part of life.

As for getting back your ex, leave the poor guy alone. I know what it's like to get constant attention from someone I am not interested in. That is a truly unhealthy obsession and I'm sorry to say, but you are stalking him or at least e-stalking. No matter how much attention you put on him, it's going to put him farther away from you... It's a "do not pass go, do not collect $200" situation.
