Now in its eighth year, the DC APA Film Festival aims to “bring attention to the creative output from APA communities and encourage the artistic development of APA films in the greater Washington DC metropolitan region.”

In other words, catch the best Asian American films you’ve never heard of at this festival, a sure hotbed of creativity. Last year’s event included both long and short films, along with entire nights devoted to films regarding LGBT and women’s themes. Likewise, this year’s festival will be sure to please a diverse range of audiences.
