New York Korean Festival (Chusok)
Korean Harvest and Folklore Festival in Flushing Meadows
A week after the Chusok Holiday in Flushing Meadows Park Expect music, dancing, and eating. The Festival is a major celebration for the Korean community in New York. The first day of the celebration is the warm-up for performers, and the real crowds will come out on Sunday, October 28, for the main event.
There will also be booths of food and some merchandise. It gets bigger ever year.
Performers in the past have included, BoA, Se7en, Mariah Carey, Fly to the Sky and Chae Yeon.
Practice Day: October 27, 2007, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Main Festival Day: October 28, 2007 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
