As a first step, let's see if New York City or Philadelphia is preferred as the locale for a possible AM/XF meetup.

FYI: There are Chinatown buses that run between the NY and Philly Chinatowns ($20 round trip; one way takes about 2 hours), so the most likely location will be in the Chinatown of the selected city.

(It may turn out that we have to have a meetup in each city, but let's see if we can get everybody together at the preferred locale.)

You are brave to step into one of those Chinatown buses. I took it once from DC to NY and the bus driver got lost! Yeah, he probably makes several trips a day but we were running in circles in DC LOL

I've taken it 3 times to NYC so far. There were problems with the bus once, but it was handled with just a short delay.

Yeah, I'm brave about some things, if not pouncing on young guys on the beach!

We just heard that MKTV is sending a film crew to do interviews this time.


FYI - we hold 2 get togethers a year - one in late September and the other in late April. The one in the fall is typically held south of Philly and the spring one is held north of Philly. Anyone is welcome to join us - even if they aren't a member. I just ask that people let me know they are coming so I can make sure I have enough prizes.

I'm not really into Korean dramas. This NYC/Philly meetup would not have such a specific topic--it would just be for AMs and the women interested in AMs to meet. We did this twice in Philly through an AM/WF Yahoo group but not on any regular schedule. I'm hoping that participation from this active group will make for a larger meetup.

MKTV is a KBS affiliate in New York. They are the closest KBS affiliate to us here in Philly.

Now that I think about it, last February when KBS was here to film the producer and cameraman were both nice looking guys. Especially the producer.

How did the tv show sing off go? Did anyone get any video? How was the singing?

I think Im the only person in the world who keeps having a drs appt, getting stuck or lost when there is a get together Seriously lol but on a positive note my sleep studies are done! .

The show just aired in Korea last night. I hear it is supposed to air on KBS World today. It is a Chuseok Special. Someone is going to upload it - hopefully later today.
