I will be on a business trip in Wiesbaden/Frankfurt, Germany for a week next week. I wonder any members here are from there.

I lived in Frankfurt when I was a younger cat. Sure it changed a lot.

Frankfurt sounds a big place and is regarded the New York of Europe, but it only has half a million people.

Frankfurt I hear is a major hub for finance but I am not too sure. The city is very big. Do you plan on going anywhere other than Wisesbaden/Frankfurt?

Good person to speak is Petra. She lives in Berlin but I'm sure she would be familiar with Frankfurt.

Not really, my schedule is very tight with meetings every day. But I've been to other parts of Germany like Tubingen and Stutgarte. I like Germany (except perhaps the food, too much meat); it's defintely the most advanced country in Europe.
Frankfurt is truly the financial hub of Europe.
And yes, I know Petra is in Berlin. But Berlin is up north, about 7 hours away by train, I believe.

Oh, shame on me ...I might be from Berlin BUT the only time I have ever been in Frankfurt, it was on the airport to change planes. And even that has been a looong time ago 'cause since some years we have a direct flight Berlin-New York, so even when going to the States I don't have to go via Frankfurt anymore.

So I am not the right person to ask about Frankfurt.
