Poem: A Mind's Eye...
I wrote this after a family friend at the time passed away suddenly of heart failure. Not genius piece by any stretch of the imagination but what I could find to help fill this forum.
 A Mind’s Eye… In my shadows, I walked alone… In my plane, I fly straight and rise up high Above the clouds, above the heavens For beneath my wings, I see the world I left behind… Lift up your hands, says He… Through the valley of shadow of death You shall see light; your mind becomes clear For outstretched arms shall guide you Along the river of life and into oceans of dreams Your mind creates its destiny; its soul drives it… Be not two but one – a collaboration For that’s what dreams are made of A path defined not by one road but many… Many talents of one influence the affected Be not confined by talents of your environment… Be not boxed by physical determinations… Be free… Fly high and rise up above the heavens You shall see the whole world The life you left undiscovered August 11, 2002
