about letting things go their way.

to stay on course, but strayed.

about losing the fight I started

but never woke to find the answer.

about what I thought was true
But I awoke too soon and found out
that there was nothing I could do.

If only I hadn't dreamt
my everything away.
My world would not be crumbling
and the skies would not be turning gray.

that I figured out a solution
But when I awoke right then
It was all but a mere illusion
