Loneliness Loves Company
Sveta inspired me to write on a solid story myself. I want to work turn this into a possible book or novella depending how things go. The idea is to have a first person perspective story as the reader meets the main character and is told about his endevours. The first part of the story is getting to know the character and his backround. Readers will flow in to certain occurences, seeing his values shift and questions things around that lead up to where he is now and possibly in the future. I am still kind of debating whether I want it to be a first perspective or purely monologue where characters are speaking directly at the reader, which the reader can form his own opinion based on his values and how it relates to the story.
Here is a quick sample that I did just now:
The weather is nice outside. Very unusual at this time of year and being stuck indoors doing clerical work makes it worse. Also the five day forecast is hinting cooler temperatures. The leaves provide evidence at the change of seasons. Damn, I hate cold weather. I better get back to work before I get any more distracted. There goes that word, distracted. It pretty much sums my life.
