heh those arent sidewalk chalk, it looks like pastells to me. still pretty optical illusions.

sometimes the words get lost in translation Chalk or Pastle whatever the base of the medium. I know the competition is called chalk art though.. however they must have rules about using other ways since there are giant pastels in one of the photos. I think they probably didnt use anything oil based because it would be hard to clean.

check out the second pic. i dont think i can even do that on a canvas.

Those are just so cool. I would be afraid to walk in the ones that look like a hole LOL
