Although these look like art photos they are not. These are parents of freshmen at Central China Normal University in Wuhan, Hubei Province. They slept on the floor surface of the school's gymnasium as part of free accodmidation offered by the university on September 3, 2007. The university set out about 350 mats for parents accompanying freshmen students on their first days of school. They do this for parents who cannot budget for a hotel. The school also provided sleeping mats, coverlets, bath facilities and hot tea.

Damn.. I thought that nude fotographer was at it again - except for the clothes. LOL.

I just had an eerie flashback to Hurricane Katrina and all of these people sleeping in the Superdome...

I thought that it reminded me of something and that's what it was.

'You'll get over it...' It's the clich's that cause the trouble. To lose someone you love is to alter your life for ever. You don't get over it because 'it' is the person you loved. The pain stops, there are new people, but the gap never closes. How could it? The particularness of someone who mattered enough to grieve over is not erased by anyone but death. This hole in my heart is in the shape of you and no one else can fit. Why would I want them to??
