Ok I got a haircut by a barber in China today. I walked into a shop not knowing what to expect. So when he first starts shampooing my hair with great care and lather, I was puzzled because I'm used to getting the trimming done first. I was relieved 10+ minutes later that I was actually getting a haircut when I sat at barber's seat after turning down the massage since I just wanted a haircut. The massage might have been included, but I didn't really want one. I was like uh oh... I didn't bring enough money. This is going to cost a lot. I was also wondering if they're going to rinse my hair after the cutting, which they did. That's a lot of service. Uh oh... here's the bill and I won't be able to pay it because I didn't bring out much money...

$4 US.

It's the same approach in HK but a bit more expensive. You go in, they wash your hair, style/cut, then rinse and finally they blow your hair. Many filippinos are used as washers in HK for terrible wages and long hours. Normal price is like $20-30 HKD depending where you go. Hong Kongers who come here and set up shop do the same thing. It's more mandatory service and expected. I get the same thing in china town for $10, no wash it's $6!!

It reminds me of the time I had my hair dyed in Italy. At the time I had really long hair and I wanted to go blond. My Motherinlaw insisted we try her salon in piasco.

Anyway I got a wash a cut and a dye for like 24 euro. At the time it was like paying 28 euro cause of the conversion then.. anyway If I had this done in New York (even is Staten Island) it would have been over 100$

I like to have dyed platinum white dread locks or long hair past my arse.

the avatar was last winter....i gained some weight this summer....just put a beard on the bald pic and you have my look now.

i'm loosing weight again tho because i healing from my injury and are able to move again...
