What are some of the best Get Together Events or Places?

Depends on the size of the group.

If we want some type of Asian theme, my suggestion would be:

1) Dinner in Koreatown (32nd Street between B'way and 5th Ave). It'd be fun to sit at a big table bbq together.

Followed by:

2) Karaoke (many locations on the same block)



I could always just do the bar/dinner thing at a regular restaurant. Sporting events are cool also (just came back from the Yankees game).

I love the food at Wonjo. Although Gam Me Oak is more authentic. Karoke and korean food is cheaper and better in flushing although there is a really nice boat restaurant named Wonjo2 in fort lee and you eat over looking the manhattan sky line.

Im also jealous. I love Chen Ming Wang. I call him my husband LOL!~

I used to walk through that area to catch my train (PATH) home. But since I moved back into the city, I haven't been there much. But yeah, you get more (and sometimes better) food for your $$ outside of Manhattan. But for a group gathering, Manhattan is probably more convenient for all. Sounds like you really know your Korean food + entertainment! Maybe you can be the NY social chairWOman...

It was my first Yankee game of the season. My father is visiting from Taiwan so I took him to go see, who else? Chien-Ming Wang. He pitched a fairly good game today but got no run-support so he took the loss (3-2) However, it was still great to see "the light of Taiwan" pitching in front of 50,000+ screaming fans.

Manhattan is convenient for many. Since I don't work in Manhattan and live out on Staten Island its pretty tough for me but then again so is any place out of Staten island AHHHH! its because I don't drive. AHH Staten island is a trap for me ! it will get better soon though.

But yeah Manhattan does have a lot of events etc etc. If you know the trains and have the capability to walk up and down train steps.. then Manhattan is awesome!

Heh I dont know if I could get to know a separate living entity I want to date via a mediation session. All I would know about them is that they meditate.
