I don't remember the last coupon I used. When I was younger my sister won a book of coupons and we only used a few out of the whole book. The one I loved was for Cinnabun. Something I could eat with no problem when I was young but now I get queasy if I had to eat the whole thing.

people have this stigmata agaisnt using coupons. I think they are pretty dumb if you ask me. Why would I not want to save money?

There have been times I've saved 35-40 bucks at the grocery store. I've had people move lines behind me, but come on, 1 minute in the checkout vs how many hours to earn that money?

I always check online before going shopping to see if there's a coupon for something I need too.

Even better I love free stuff. I am on a lot of web forums for freebies. And they are not only crappy samples. I have recieved just a few of many.. A zippo lighter, A very expensive camera bag that I sold on Ebay for $225 (I needed an authentic nikon sn, but I just happen to own one) I have gotten purses, jewelry, tons and tons of sample and lots of pens (I am a pen fanatic)

Back in another lifetime when I was a bored housewife (lol), I was one of those people who saved tons of money at the grocery checkout using coupons. And don't forget refunds--getting the dollar checks in the mail for sending in the UPC symbols (or don't they do that anymore?). For a short while I even had a subscription to a refunding magazine (I think it was called Refundle Bundle--I kept getting my subscription extended because I came up with catchy slogans to print on each issue), through which I got involved in a refund "round robin." This was a group of 5 or 6 women who contributed refund forms that we didn't need (or that we had extra copies of) and mailed them around to the others--it was on a (communistic?) "take what you need and give what you can" system. It actually worked because different forms were more readily available in different parts of the country, and the people in the group spanned across the country.

Wow, what a loser I was then! lol

I would like to use more coupons now, but I just don't have the time.

I suppose I could be clipping coupons now instead of posting this....

Would those coupons predominately cater to the Canadian market or all of North America? Most coupons/promotions are localized no?

They are local unless they are nationalized and so stated. ie chain stores. Hell, we get packets of coupons by snail mail every week. Junk mail if you will. You never use them till you need them. Isn't that always the case? I'm sure you get them too but probably threw them away as paper spam. I know I have on many occasions.
