Bump, no one has suggestions??

I have a feature request if it is at all possible. Currently, when I am logged on I am able to see if I have any unread private messages without having to do any extra clicking. This is great. Would it be possible to somehow show links to any threads that have new content since I last read them? I know that I can subscribe to a thread but I was thinking of something that displays this without emails. Right now if I make a post in a thread, I then later on have to navigate to the thread in order to find out if anyone else has posted to it. It's hard to keep track of the threads as well as know which category of forum they are in. If I could mark a thread and then have a link to it show up when someone adds content, that would be great. Thanks.

There is a feature already available to find all new posts since you were last logged on. You can do this by clicking on "new posts" on the navbar above. Or another way that might be better is to go to "Quick links" on the navbar and click on "Today's posts". It will show you all the posts done in the last 24 hours (including the news bots post.. I haven't found a way yet to make them not show up in the list yet).

2 ways to do this Robert and the tools are already available in vbulletin.

1. Subscribed threads:

You can hit subscribe threads to all the threads you responded to. They will show up in your userCP. When someone responds you will see the thread become bolded. After you finish reading all the threads they become unbolded hence, read. If you don't wish to read your subscribed threads you can unsubscribe to them or hit "mark forums read" which is the link you see near the bottom centre of the forum. Then all the bolded/unread threads become unbolded/read until the next time you log in assuming someone has responded to your thread. When finished, hit "mark forums read" and that will in a sense refresh your page. Also, mark "no email notices" in UserCP edit options/Default Thread Subscription Mode so it doesn't send you email copies of subscribed threads.


2. New Posts (menu bar):

This is the easier way which doesn't require subscribed threads. When logged in hit New Posts and it will show all threads that have new posts since your last visit. When finished hit "mark forums read" link. This clears all new posts as being read on the entire forum. Then next time you log in you hit new posts again and repeat the steps.

Sure you can. I made a thread about that not too long ago asking if people would make a statement about what their experiences are on the site and i would post it on the portal page for people to see it.
